NOTE: All planned server hardware should conform to minimum standards if used as M4E VM hosts. Virtual machine hosts require hardware virtualization features. M4E virtual appliance runs as a guest operating system (Ubuntu® 8.10 server). Server hosts lacking hardware virtualization support may not function properly.

M4E virtual appliance SMS messaging platform can run on VMware Server® installed on Linux or Windows® hosts. It can also run locally as a server, laptop or desktop PC using VMware Workstation®.

To support accurate local system time, allow NTP Time server to access these cross check servers:
pool.ntp.org
server ntp0.pipex.net
server ntp1.pipex.net
